Hi Blog, I'm back! A quick (sad) update: Venezuela did not win the soccer game. Anyway, I am beginning the process of creating my first commercial. First, I am going through my mom's Facebook, Instagram, and my Google photos to choose the ones that represent me the most currently. I am also searching for any old saved videos by digging deeper into my mom's and my camera roll. I will also ask my friends for any possible videos and photos they may have. For my songs, I have to put more time into finding non-explicit songs on my Spotify that fit better with the pictures and videos. I am downloading multiple editing apps and choosing the ones that make my commercial look better and closer to perfection. I am putting all of the pictures and videos together to see how they look together and finding a better way to arrange them so that it is pleasant to look at. I am also making sure that the length and the song fit correctly. I want to manage my time correctly and try to do my editing in all three apps to find which one looks better, all within the time we have for this assignment. This commercial is really complex, so I want to do my best and choose things that represent me to show some of my essence through this video. My process for choosing the photos was to pick a moment/age from my life and put them in chronological order to show my overall growth over the years. To choose the song, I made sure to pick something that represents me but is still school-appropriate. I'm making sure to take my time on this to make it as perfect as possible. I'm debating on CapCut or Adobe Photoshop for my transitions and duration of my pictures. So far, I'm leaning towards CapCut since it makes everything smoother and look more put together and less messy. I'm also deciding how long each picture and video will last playing so it's not too long or too short. I do think it looks best if I put picture>video>picture so it gives variety and represents each moment correctly. For now, I'm using CapCut and doing a short duration for the pictures and videos so it doesn't get too boring. I'm so excited to see how it turns out. Until next time, blog. Rose signing off!
