CCR: Music Video!

How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?  The final product used my conventions since R&B is the most common in my generation. I also chose the references for my conventions based on my own music taste so as expected. I also included some of the types of shots used in "Sober" like the zoom in and tracking shot. I feel like the conventions for the genre really represents and connects with the message of the songs. I also used costumes, props and sets in my music video to add the sense of adventure in it. My previous research was used to portray the message and show the different meanings each scene had by costumes, props and most importantly the camera angles to show a power struggle. Ivy is the color i see: It’s ready!!

  Hii blog, i’m back!! Today, i’ll be adding the finishing touches for the music video. First, my group and I had to resolve an issue with scene nine since that scene was not shot due to the actors not being avalaible. Therefore, we recruited to the plan B of using a video from the internet. This whole process was tricky due to multiple websites often taking videos from other videographers and selling them their own for a exaggerated fee. The solution was to use a free stock video web and pick the most similar one we could find, so we finally have that scene. The audio was one of our other issues due to Ivy having a particularly bad word, which was not noticed until reviewing our music video and perfecting it. This was solved by finding a clear version online and inserting that. This two issues were minor yet, could’ve affected the final outcome of our videos. Owen also added a few final touches. He played around with transitions for the raw shots to not be as noticeable. The timing to
