  Hii blog, I’m back!! Today, I’ll be reflecting on my previously posted commercial. In this project, i learned to use different apps to edit videos together and add audio. I had seen templates of CapCut before but never actually put the videos and photos together myself. I also learned to do transitions and the different options on those. I learned how to use the desktop version of it and adding audio to the edit. For the edit, after i exported the video i clicked on share and clicked TikTok to add the audio that i wanted. I discovered TikTok’s water mark doesn’t necessarily have to be on the download version by just clicking the arrow on the side in the editing window. Hii blog, I’m Back! Today I’m posting my awaited commercial. I put a lot of hard work and dedication into this short clip about me.     Hii Blog, I'm back! Today I'm finally putting my pictures and videos together. As I said previously, I did two different apps, CapCut and Adobe Photoshop, to see which one has more features and looks better. In my opinion, CapCut has so many more resources that are free for the general public and it's much easier to navigate. Adobe Photoshop is more complex and limits my creativity, since most of the "cool" features are locked. I use about 1.5 seconds of each picture and put a video afterwards. For some videos, I'm putting short clips of around 3 seconds (depending on what it is). For example, l'm using a video from when I was little which is a short little clip of me on a family trip about 11 years ago. Then, for other videos, I'm putting longer clips, like around 15 seconds of each, for example of the vlogs that me and my friends do when we hangout, trying to have a nice ratio of photos to videos.     Hii blog, I’m back!! Today, I’m choosing my video and they layout of them. My videos are based on me growing up and the growth of my personality. This process isn’t necessarily easy since I’ve grown as a person but then again i want the videos to show the multiple eras and stages of my life. Some stages like my pictures have been easy and hard so i want to reflect that on the 30 seconds of commercial. To represent myself i want to show the difficult and easier times that have built my character. For my different stages: I’m showing a video of my childhood trip to Margarita, Venezuela. This trip opened up many problems to me since I noticed my parents relationship and different issues with family. For the easier stages: I’m showing currently simple videos that really represent me as a current person right now. For me, this process isn’t necessarily easy since i feel like i’ve grown as a person but then again i’ve had multiple eras and stages of my life. Some stages of my life have been easy and hard so i wanted to reflect that on such little time. To present myself i want to show the difficult and easier times that have made me, me. For my difficult stages, i wanted to show: the divorce of my parents, the surgeries i’ve had, moving out of my countries and leaving family and friends behind. For the easier stages i wanted to portrayed: my childhood, my trips, my friends and my likings. Hey blog, I’m back! Today i’m gonna be working on my commercial and putting it all together. I’m using two different programs, CapCut and Adobe Photoshop to see which one gives the best quality and merging results. CapCut is mainly used by TikTok users to up their game in the app. N this case, I’m going to use it for the editing and TikTok just to insert the audio. When you first enter CapCut it gives an option of the type of user you are, i chose vlog since its what described me the best. I then tapped on new project and began playing around with the tools. A really cool option of CapCut in my opinion is the AutoCut feature allowing new footage and already exiting footage to be merged, sounds and text overlays to pleasantly flow. There’s also different templates to choose from once all of the clips are analyzed, this templates change the music, pacing and transitions. Also , one of my favorite and in my opinion most useful tool is the auto captions since it saves SO MUCH time. Now for

    Hi Blog, I'm back! A quick (sad) update: Venezuela did not win the soccer game. Anyway, I am beginning the process of creating my first commercial. First, I am going through my mom's Facebook, Instagram, and my Google photos to choose the ones that represent me the most currently. I am also searching for any old saved videos by digging deeper into my mom's and my camera roll. I will also ask my friends for any possible videos and photos they may have. For my songs, I have to put more time into finding non-explicit songs on my Spotify that fit better with the pictures and videos. I am downloading multiple editing apps and choosing the ones that make my commercial look better and closer to perfection. I am putting all of the pictures and videos together to see how they look together and finding a better way to arrange them so that it is pleasant to look at.   Hi Blog! My name is Roselyn Rodriguez but my friends call me Rose, I’m 15 years old and a sophomore in Fort Lauderdale High-School. I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela and came to the US at 10 years old not knowing any english.
