Ivy is the color I see: The set-up!

Hii blog, I’m back!! Today my group and I are editing all the clips together. Since my group decided to divide the duties with this project we choose a specific person to do the editing. Owen, who happens to be the most experienced in everything to has to do with editing taught me and Michelle all new things for our future blogs. First, my group and I gathered all of our favorites clip of what we filmed and the audio that was clean for our song. Then, all of the clips were organized the way it fit the storyline correctly in a file and began debating which program was going to be used. At the end, as a group we decided CapCut because as I’ve previously said it’s one of the most simple programs to be used. Then, Owen cut all of the clips to make a cohesive storyline and have an effective visual flow. Owen played around with the timing multiple time making it the best it could be which taught me how to effectively use the cutting feature on the program.Owen also taught us how to add the audio without using Tiktok, by screen recording the video of the sound and then imported to CapCut which extracts the audio. Then, the audio was cut to fit the necessary amount of times and playing with the timing to make the lyrics fit. Another thing that I learned from Owen is how to adjust volume levels giving the video the best quality of audio we could get. Also, the original audio of the video had to be removed since it was filmed at the beach. After, as a group we rewatched to make sure we got the nest result and the storyline and audio once again fit perfectly. Often, my group tried to make sure that the storylines was accurately to the emotions that we tried to convey. With all of the groups different devices we watched the video to make sure the quality was high and the audio accurately fit. Not only is it important to do everything accurately but give it some of our personal touch of creativity which led us to begin playing around with transitions and introducing different types of scenes. This music video is to portray our powerful vision and bring it to life. My group also tried showing those around us the raw clips and them with transitions to get others people opinion. Owen also made sure to paint the picture we had envisioned on our past blogs. For the near future, we’re attempting to add our transitions and do all the finishing details to upload our video. Very excited to show you guys the final product. See you soon Blog!
