Vision Pt. 2: The scenes are done!
Hii blog, I’m back!! Yesterday was the final day of filming which means the scenes are finally done. My group and I went back to film our final six scenes. This time we had a more of an idea on how filming works and knew when to start our scenes. While we were there we changed little details that we had not expected. For example, for the split-scene we decided to switch it for the camera to go around which gave it a nicer look. I also had a little trouble getting the phone to focus and look nice in camera which also took a couple tries to make it the best i could. For the eight scene, it also brought me trouble since we didn’t have anyone to drive in a bumpy road so we had to improvise with moving the camera. For the 9th scene, involving the little kids i had to improvise since the kids that were supposed to act in our video were unavailable for the day we needed them. So for that scene, i had to get a clip out of the internet which was our plan B. For the other car scene, there was multiple shots due to the fact the camera would unfocus and made it look extremely messy. The eleventh scene, in my opinion, was one of the most difficult ones since the set was a famous spot of the beach so a LOT of people would walk by often interrupting the filming. There was also an issue of the actors (Michelle and Owen) walking away extremely fast and not at the same time making the shoot look off. The 11th scene had to be shot approximately around 8 to 10 times. The twelfth scene was one of the most meaningful scenes making it one of the most important ones to film correctly and get the meaning across. Again, with this scene i had the same issue with people constantly walking by. My group and I also had some miscommunication on how we wanted certain scenes to look and what angles and lightning they were comfortable with. I filmed this scenes and honestly, I think the seventh scene is on elf my favorite ones since i felt like a professional doing it and getting it right. I also think an issue i had was getting the exact time that we had previously plan for each scene. Bye blog. Can’t wait to show you the finish product!!
