Intro for music video!

Hiii Blog, I’m back and excited to start my music video! My name is Roselyn Rodriguez but my friends call me Rose, I’m 15 years old and a sophomore in Fort Lauderdale High-School. I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela and came to the US at 10 years old not knowing any english. In over 5 years i’ve been able to improve my english and make it my second language!!  I have an older brother, younger sister and two Pit-bulls who are in theory my siblings. I love the beach and spending time with friends, I actually celebrated my Quince (fifteenth birthday) at South Beach surrounded by friends. I like doing well in school (academic validation is my guilty pressure) which inspired me into entering NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) and Cambridge. I dislike people who are too self-centered and end up pushing friends away by selfishness. Honestly, speaking in Spanish is one of my favorite things ever (even if my mom makes fun of me for the spanglish). Music is such a key to my life, I like pretty much anything besides Country. Even if i blast “Our Song” By Taylor Swift in my AirPods every now and then. One of my favorite plans ever is going to concerts, i’ve been to around 20 in two years seeing some of the best current artists such as: Tyler, The Creator, Harry Styles and Bad Bunny. I, sadly have to admit the slight obsession i have with my phone (its horrible!) which i’ve been working on with being busy with other things like books. I cannot read intellectual things, the closest thing i do to that is watching ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and listening to Sheldons random facts; I do enjoy romance/comedy novels like “The Summer I Turned Pretty”. I haven’t been to Venezuela in around 5 years but my mom makes sure to keep our language and ethnicity alive even if it means taking me and my sisters phone away for speaking in English. Often, I wonder what it would’ve been if i hadn’t left my country but i genuinely feel so lucky to be in a country with such great opportunities for anyone. This summer, a piece of Venezuela actually came here, my cousins and brought the essence that i miss so much. Blog, tomorrow (September 7th, 2023) Venezuela will be competing to hopefully classify in the World Cup for 2023 which i’ll come back with updates. Anyway, Rose signing off!! Chaoo
